Field measurements
The center has a variety of equipment for hydraulic, sedimentary and geomorphological measurements. In each campaign, we prioritize the proper use of these equipment, adapting standard methods and techniques in order to guarantee the quality of data. The collected data is well processed and calibrated.
Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers for River Flow Measurement
The ADCP RiverRay (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) allows to obtain the flow velocity diagram in cross sections, with depths from 40 cm to 60 m.

Suspended and bedload sediments
Our team has improved methodologies for taking sediment, suspended and bedload samples, in the water column. Subsequently, a granulometric analysis and particle characterization is carried out in the lab.
