PhD in Geological Sciences from The National University of San Juan, Argentina. Her research area involves Quaternary stratigraphy, Paleoseismology, Neotectonics, landslides, natural hazards, catastrophic outburst floods from glaciers and landslides-dammed lakes and recent environmental change. She is currently a a representative fellow of the Argentinian Institute of Snow science, Glaciology and Environmental Sciences
