MSc in Geography from the Pedagogical University of Colombia. His research areas involve climate change, Physical Geography, Meteorology, Climate Modeling, Geomorphological Mapping, Fluvial Geomorphology, Coastal Geomorphology, and Glaciology. He is also a member of the Group of Andean Ice and Snow supported by the UNESCO through The International Hydrological Programme.
